Castelul cu ciocârlani (ilustrații la nimic)

Expoziția de pictură și desen intitulată „Castelul cu ciocârlani” prezintă o serie nouă de lucrări ale pictoriței Nadina Pascariu, realizate anul acesta. Sunt lucrări de mici dimensiuni, pe hârtie, în tehnica acuarelei și a creioanelor colorate. După o perioadă dedicată cu precădere studiului în plein-air, artista revine la sursa imaginației, mai frecventă după terminarea facultății în lucrările sale de grafică de carte. Doar că de data aceasta, așa cum precizează în subtitlu, nu ilustrează nimic. Povestea fiecărei imagini pornește de la sugestia formelor și culorilor, oferind privitorilor libertatea propriilor asociații. Una dintre lucrări a dat numele expoziției tot printr-un joc de asocieri și anume, cea a galeriei cu un castel și a lucrărilor cu niște păsări poposite vremelnic în acest spațiu.

The painting & drawing exhibition titled “Larks’ Castle (sketches to nothing)” presents a new series of works by the painter Nadina Pascariu, made this year. Small watercolors and colored pencils on paper. After a period devoted mainly to the plein-air study, the artist returns to the source of imagination, more frequent in her book graphics after finishing the faculty. Only this time, as she specifies in the subtitle, they do not illustrate anything. The story of each image starts from the suggestion of forms and colors, giving viewers the freedom of their own associations. One of the works also gave the name of the exhibition through such a game, namely, the association of the gallery with a castle and of the artworks with some birds temporarily landed here.
